Counselling for
EXPATS & GLOBAL NOMADS
Helping you take care of your mental health abroad
You may have landed here because…
… you’re going through an impactful life transition on top of living abroad like divorce, pregnancy, career gap, your kids moving out, or a recent difficult medical diagnosis.
… you or your family have been struggling with saying goodbye, adaptation, guilt, or loneliness in a new home.
… you’re tired of feeling like your real life is in suspension until you move back home.
… you feel like you lost part of yourself while moving around
… or maybe it’s just been hard lately, you’ve been feeling low, anxious, and not able to cope.
In my experience working with expats and global nomads,
I’ve noticed that people secretly struggle for a long time before they reach out for help.
I’ve also come to see how having a beautiful international life doesn’t shield you from living with shame, envy, and guilt.
I’ve discovered that it is so common to live in fear of losing loved ones far away and regretting not spending more time with them.
I’ve observed the real impact of the loss of the many lives you could have lived.
What if we had stayed?
What if I had continued to work?
What if I had given that relationship a chance?
I’ve seen how saying so many goodbyes can impact your relationships and how close you let people in.
But I’ve also witnessed…
… that as you build your internal strengths and learn to regulate your emotions, you start to find stable ground to sustain you through your transitions and through difficult times when they come.
In my work, I combine my professional training, my personal experience of living and raising kids abroad, and my career change while moving around to create a supportive space that allows you to safely explore your questions and struggles.
